Mangaluru, KCET 2025 saw a huge response as more than 27,000 students from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts turned up for the state’s important entrance test. With 22,525 candidates from Dakshina Kannada and 8,089 from Udupi, the test was held at 66 centers in Dakshina Kannada and 23 in Udupi, ensuring smooth logistics and ease of access for all enrolled students.
Tight security arrangements were made at all centers, comprising prohibitory orders within a radius of 200 meters, deployment of police, and webcasting at a few places to avert malpractice. Authorities arranged uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, and medical facilities to assist students in tolerating the heat of summer.
KCET, conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority, is the entry point to admissions to engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and allied professional courses. Kannada language examination took place on April 15 and the final examinations on April 16 and 17. The results would come out in June 2025.
The smooth execution of KCET 2025 in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi reflects the readiness of the districts and the commitment of local authorities to make a fair, safe, and efficient examination process possible for thousands of hopefuls.
